Improving Health and Wellbeing for People in Local Communities

Have you had experience of community-based projects to improve health and/or wellbeing?

Researchers at the University of Birmingham want to help improve health and wellbeing for people in local communities that are part of the Fairer Futures Funding Scheme.

Working closely with Birmingham City Council, this research aims to evaluate the impact of the Fairer Futures Fund – a fund to support developing collaborations and interventions with local underserved communities.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for public partners from a diverse range of communities that are not involved directly in the Fund to sit on a patient oversight panel. This panel will meet every three or four months for the next two years to provide public and citizen perspectives on the project.

Honoraria

We will pay for your time taken to prepare, and attend the panel at a rate of £25 an hour, in addition to any related travel expenses.
