Resources for Patients and Public

PPIE Journal Club

As part of our commitment to capacity building around public and patient involvement in research, we have set up a monthly online PPIE Journal Club.

The Journal Club aims to provide an informal space in which all members of the ARC WM community can come together to learn about PPIE through discussion of an article, blog or resource. The Journal Club is open to all members of the ARC WM community, including staff and public contributors.

Each month, an article, blog or resource will be identified as the subject of discussion, and a member of the ARC WM PPIE team will lead a session with an overview of their reflections on the piece. This will then be followed by group discussion amongst attendees.

NIHR Guidance on Co-Producing a Research Project:
This guidance sets out the key principles and features of co-producing a research project and suggests ways to realise them. It also outlines some of the key challenges that will need addressing to aid those intending to take the co-producing research route.
