Patients at the Centre: Integrating Primary and Community Care

Recently Prof Daniel Lasserson, Acute Care Interfaces theme lead, was called to give evidence at a House of Lords Select Committee on the Integration of Primary and Community Care. The report has now been published, detailing the challenges faced by the NHS and how these have severely impacted patients’ access and experience of health care. The report makes a number of recommendations, including around Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), workforce and training, and patient data.
